The colour we are named after.

Kaavi is the red-ochre earth that coastal Karnataka has ground into pigment for temple walls for four centuries. Nisarga is the word for nature itself. We took both, because that is the whole idea.

We started in 2019 with one complaint: almost nothing sold to Indian men was actually cut for Indian weather. Too much polyester, too much shine, too many shirts that needed ironing before you could leave the house.

So we make four things and try to make them properly — trousers, shirts, t-shirts and innerwear. Long-staple Indian cotton, dyed in earth tones that age instead of fading, stitched by a unit in Karnataka we actually visit.
