The colour we are named after.
Kaavi is the red-ochre earth that coastal Karnataka has ground into pigment for temple walls for four centuries. Nisarga is the word for nature itself. We took both, because that is the whole idea.
Every piece starts as long-staple Indian cotton, is dyed in earth tones that age instead of fading, and is cut for weather that sits at 32°C for most of the year. Nothing shiny. Nothing that needs ironing before you can leave the house.
